THE SACRAMENTS OF PENANCE AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
The program is offered to children in Grade 4 (and above) in 2026.
Celebration of Penance will be held on Friday, 31st July 2026 at 9.00am
and the
Celebration of First Holy Communion will be held on Saturday, 12th September at 9.00am
at St Oliver Plunkett Church, Cannon Hill.
Enrolments will open mid-2026.
Preparation Sessions, Mass and Rehearsal will be held in the Parish at St Oliver Plunkett.
ALL sessions must be attended:
Parent's Preparation Session - Wednesday, 17th June at 7.00pm (for parents only)
Presentation Mass - Sunday, 21st June at 9.30am (for parents, children & family - all welcome)
First Penance Preparation Session - Tuesday, 21st July at 3.30pm OR Sunday, 19th July at 8.15am (for parents and children)
Second Penance Preparation Session - Tuesday, 28th July at 3.30pm OR Sunday, 26th July at 8.15am (for parents and children)
First Communion Preparation Session - Tuesday, 18th August at 3.30pm OR Sunday, 16th August at 8.15am (for parents and children)
Second Communion Preparation Session - Tuesday, 1st September at 3.30pm OR Sunday, 30th August at 8.15am (for parents and children)
Communion Rehearsal - Wednesday, 9th September at 6.00pm (for parents and children)

PARENTAL CONSENT & FAMILY LAW FORM
You will need to bring this with you when you come to the
Preparation Session as it is a requirement of the Archdiocese of Brisbane
and will be kept, as stipulated, in the Parish Archives.
