Penance and First Holy Communion

THE SACRAMENTS OF PENANCE AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

The program is offered to children in Grade 4 (and above) in 2026.

Celebration of Penance will be held on Friday, TBC at 9.00am

and the

Celebration of First Holy Communion will be held on Saturday, TBC at 9.00am

at St Oliver Plunkett Church, Cannon Hill.

Enrolments for 2025 have closed.

Preparation Sessions, Mass and Rehearsal will be held in the Parish at St Oliver Plunkett.

ALL sessions must be attended:

Presentation Mass - Sunday, TBC at 9.30am (parents, children & family)

Parent's Preparation Session - Wednesday, TBC at 7.00pm (parents only)

First Penance Preparation Session & Mass - Sunday, TBC at 8.15am (for parents and children)

Second Penance Preparation Session - Sunday, TBC at 8.15am (for parents and children)

First Communion Preparation Session - Sunday, TBC at 8.15am (for parents and children)

Second Communion Preparation Session - Sunday, TBC at 8.15am (for parents and children)

Communion Rehearsal - Wednesday, TBC at 6.00pm (for parents and children)

A fee of $75 applies for Enrolment.

PARENTAL CONSENT & FAMILY LAW FORM

You will need to bring this with you when you come to the
Preparation Session as it is a requirement of the Archdiocese of Brisbane
and will be kept, as stipulated, in the Parish Archives.
