ST VINCENT DE PAUL WINTER APPEAL COLLECTION

Saturday, 21st & Sunday, 22nd June

This year’s Winter Appeal theme is “No One Chooses to be Homeless.” It shines a light on the complex and often hidden causes of homelessness, while also emphasizing the long-term support needed for individuals and families to recover, rebuild, and find stability. More than 122,000 people are currently homeless in Australia — including more than 22,000 in QLD. Homelessness is not a single face. People from all walks of life, regardless of age or background, can find themselves moving from stability to precarity in a short space of time. Thank you for standing with those who need it most.
