Parish Priest

Fr Eric Alleaume, our Parish Priest, grew up in Melbourne, where was schooled in the Oblate Parish of St. John Vianneys in Nth. Springvale and attended Mazenod College in Mulgrave for his secondary education. His priestly formation with the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate began in 1984 at St. Mary's Seminary in Mulgrave and he was ordained in 1991. His first appointment was as a teacher at Iona College in Wynnum from June 1991 until December 1998. He was then appointed to teach in Western Australia at Mazenod College in Lesmurdie. After a sabbatical in 2005 he was appointed to St. David's Parish in Tea Tree Gully, South Australia. In June of 2006 he took up a new role as Personal Secretary to the Superior General of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate in Rome, Italy. In 2013 he was appointed co-pastor of St. David's Parish in Tea Tree Gully. From the beginning of 2017 he has helped out in St. Eugene's Parish in Burpengary and then in the Oblate parish in Sefton in New South Wales.

As of the 21st of August 2017 Fr. Eric has taken over as Parish Priest of the Cannon Hill Parish, the newest Oblate Parish in the world.

           

Parish Secretary

Mary Ginty took up her role as parish secretary on 1st August 2017.
